Purpose: Chromi the Chromosome™ is used as a visual aid to teach genetic concept, such as: what a chromosome is, mitosis and meiosis, non-disjunction and inheritance.

Methods: Use Chromi to explain to students or patients what a chromosome is, how chromosomes segregate during mitosis and meiosis, what non-disjunction errors are and their possible consequences for human health (e.g. Down Syndrome).

Classroom Use: Chromi the Chromosome™ is the perfect teaching aid to be used while teaching basic genetic concepts to school age children, the general public, science teachers, and medical professionals. He is also an excellent visual aid while counseling patients about a genetic disorder.
